How to Cure Dandruff for Good: Selenium Sulfide Suspension 2.5%

Sebosel is a product produced by Taro Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. based in Israel that I used since I moved to Haifa, and it worked marvelously for me (as well as my roommate).
In the states, this strength is only available by prescription, so ask your doctor for an analogous Selenium Sulfide Suspension of 2.5%.  You will need less than a bottle, and the results are pretty permanent!  No more being monopolized by Head and Shoulders, and you will soon be free to happily browse the shampoo section at your favorite salons/websites/drugstores etc.  I did notice some dandruff coming back when I started using a lot of products in my hair, but I just used it again and it solved the problem.

For instructions on how to use Sebosel specifically, with all the warnings, go to this link
http://www.taro.co.il/media/oMedia/932_6_756.pdf

English is on the second page.
Here I copy pasted its General Instructions: For the treatment of dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp:

1. Massage a small amount (approx. 5-10 ml) of the

suspension into wet scalp.

2. Allow product to remain on scalp for 2-3 minutes.

3. Rinse scalp thoroughly.

4. Repeat application and rinse thoroughly.

5. After treatment, wash hands well.

6. Repeat treatment twice a week for two weeks and then once in a week, two weeks or more.

In any case, do not use this preparation for more than twice a week. Avoid using the product 2 days after dyeing or perming your hair. During treatment remove hair pins and rings, avoid contact with metals when using the product.

Repeat treatment twice a week for two weeks and then once in a week, for two weeks or more.

My own warning: This stuff may cause your hair to smell a bit funky the day after you use it.

May you enjoy a flake free head!! =D

And remember: Pass it on!
